From 2ac369ed8f4b2ae8e4b7e7e8bfdde37822d600e2 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Oliver Smith Date: Tue, 6 Aug 2019 10:49:39 +0200 Subject: [PATCH] temp/{networkmanager,wpa_supplicant}: new aports (!547) Fork from Alpine to apply Martijn's patch: https://github.com/alpinelinux/aports/pull/9894 "This makes wpa_supplicant run in dbus mode if no config file has been created for it, fixing the networkmanager integration. This config has been used for a long time in postmarketOS and works fine. It also removes the iwd dependency from networkmanager again so wpa_supplicant is used because iwd doesn't support as many chipsets as wpa_supplicant and it doesn't run on older kernels." [ci:skip-build]: already built successfully in CI for x86_64, I've tested that it builds for armhf and aarch64 too. --- temp/networkmanager/APKBUILD | 120 ++++ temp/networkmanager/fix-ppc64le-build.patch | 12 + temp/networkmanager/musl-basic.patch | 46 ++ temp/networkmanager/musl-compar.patch | 18 + temp/networkmanager/musl-fix-includes.patch | 52 ++ .../musl-has-not-secure-getenv.patch | 13 + .../networkmanager/musl-network-support.patch | 42 ++ temp/networkmanager/musl-process-util.patch | 40 ++ temp/networkmanager/networkmanager.conf | 2 + temp/networkmanager/networkmanager.initd | 17 + .../networkmanager/networkmanager.pre-install | 9 + .../networkmanager/networkmanager.pre-upgrade | 1 + temp/networkmanager/networkmanager.rules | 9 + temp/wpa_supplicant/APKBUILD | 119 ++++ temp/wpa_supplicant/config | 550 ++++++++++++++++++ temp/wpa_supplicant/eloop.patch | 16 + temp/wpa_supplicant/wpa_cli.confd | 1 + temp/wpa_supplicant/wpa_cli.initd | 9 + temp/wpa_supplicant/wpa_cli.sh | 40 ++ temp/wpa_supplicant/wpa_supplicant.confd | 7 + temp/wpa_supplicant/wpa_supplicant.initd | 60 ++ 21 files changed, 1183 insertions(+) create mode 100644 temp/networkmanager/APKBUILD create mode 100644 temp/networkmanager/fix-ppc64le-build.patch create mode 100644 temp/networkmanager/musl-basic.patch create mode 100644 temp/networkmanager/musl-compar.patch create mode 100644 temp/networkmanager/musl-fix-includes.patch create mode 100644 temp/networkmanager/musl-has-not-secure-getenv.patch create mode 100644 temp/networkmanager/musl-network-support.patch create mode 100644 temp/networkmanager/musl-process-util.patch create mode 100644 temp/networkmanager/networkmanager.conf create mode 100644 temp/networkmanager/networkmanager.initd create mode 100644 temp/networkmanager/networkmanager.pre-install create mode 120000 temp/networkmanager/networkmanager.pre-upgrade create mode 100644 temp/networkmanager/networkmanager.rules create mode 100644 temp/wpa_supplicant/APKBUILD create mode 100644 temp/wpa_supplicant/config create mode 100644 temp/wpa_supplicant/eloop.patch create mode 100644 temp/wpa_supplicant/wpa_cli.confd create mode 100755 temp/wpa_supplicant/wpa_cli.initd create mode 100644 temp/wpa_supplicant/wpa_cli.sh create mode 100644 temp/wpa_supplicant/wpa_supplicant.confd create mode 100644 temp/wpa_supplicant/wpa_supplicant.initd diff --git a/temp/networkmanager/APKBUILD b/temp/networkmanager/APKBUILD new file mode 100644 index 000000000..b47733721 --- /dev/null +++ b/temp/networkmanager/APKBUILD @@ -0,0 +1,120 @@ +# Forked from Alpine until this is merged: +# https://github.com/alpinelinux/aports/pull/9894 +pkgname=networkmanager +pkgver=1.18.2 +pkgrel=2 +pkgdesc="Network Management daemon" +url="https://wiki.gnome.org/Projects/NetworkManager" +arch="all !s390x" # On Linux and BSD systems, this +# works by reading /dev/urandom. It should be noted that the OS entropy pool +# needs to be properly initialized before wpa_supplicant is started. This is +# important especially on embedded devices that do not have a hardware random +# number generator and may by default start up with minimal entropy available +# for random number generation. +# +# As a safety net, wpa_supplicant is by default trying to internally collect +# additional entropy for generating random data to mix in with the data fetched +# from the OS. This by itself is not considered to be very strong, but it may +# help in cases where the system pool is not initialized properly. However, it +# is very strongly recommended that the system pool is initialized with enough +# entropy either by using hardware assisted random number generator or by +# storing state over device reboots. +# +# wpa_supplicant can be configured to maintain its own entropy store over +# restarts to enhance random number generation. This is not perfect, but it is +# much more secure than using the same sequence of random numbers after every +# reboot. This can be enabled with -e command line option. The +# specified file needs to be readable and writable by wpa_supplicant. +# +# If the os_get_random() is known to provide strong random data (e.g., on +# Linux/BSD, the board in question is known to have reliable source of random +# data from /dev/urandom), the internal wpa_supplicant random pool can be +# disabled.
